Hello and welcome! I\u2019m so excited to be on this new blogging platform, and even more excited to see what God is up to!\u00a0 He and I have been moving along life\u2019s highway about 40 years now \u2013 but a few years before that, I did it without Him.\u00a0 I can tell you that it is FAR BETTER to do life with Jesus than the alternative.<\/span><\/p>\n

I hope that in my blog posts, if you aren\u2019t already a believer, I can help convince you to become one.\u00a0 If you are a believer, I hope I can encourage you to stay the course and at times challenge you to think outside the box of religion and Believe 4 More, because that\u2019s what this website is all about.<\/span><\/p>\n

A bit of my history includes 12 years of divorce recovery ministry after my own divorce and single-parenting experience.\u00a0 I have not only my personal testimony, but have heard a few hundred separation and divorce stories, along with the challenges of single-parenting, visitation, finances, plus dating and new relationship struggles.\u00a0 God\u2019s Word has wisdom for us in all of these issues and His Spirit gives counsel to us individually as we seek Him.<\/span><\/p>\n

When God called me into this ministry \u2013 there wasn\u2019t a ministry – I was going to start it!\u00a0 Yikes!\u00a0 I had a paying job, two kids, a mortgage and a car payment.\u00a0 I needed that paycheck!\u00a0 I felt him tugging at me to quit my job and use my administrative gift at the church I attended where there was no position and no paycheck.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pressure was heavy on my heart as I went to bed one night and the devotion for that day was Matthew 6:25-26.\u00a0 It says, \u201cTherefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on.\u00a0 Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?\u201d\u00a0 That settled it. I had to jump off the cliff.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many instances of God\u2019s provision in my life followed my obedience, and the ministry we did for 9 years at that church was said to be the most fruitful of any ministry ever done there in the past 50 years, at their recent golden anniversary celebration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from that, my two kids now have a total of five of their own and two of those five have produced two more, (great grandbabies) as of this writing.\u00a0 I met and married my husband Gregg 23+ years ago while doing ministry together.\u00a0 We are blessed to spend our summers in Kansas and our winters in Florida, enjoying kids and grandkids in both areas.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
